End of academic year 2007 -2008

After the first full academic year in which the flexible entry system allowed students to enter the business programmes throughout the year, the last block (8) has provided a great opportunity for Wittenborg students to round the year off with graduation.

In 2007 - 2008, 90% of all Wittenborg graduates have entered employment immediately after graduation.

New Name: Wittenborg Business & Language School

From 1 June 2008, Hogeschool Wittenborg will be called Wittenborg Business & Language School, in English. Hogeschool Wittenborg remains the schools official name in Dutch.

Hogeschool Wittenborg is a University of Applied Sciences.

Wittenborg Management Change Announcement

As of 15 April 2008, all education at the Wittenborg Business & Language School (Hogeschool Wittenborg), in Deventer, the Netherlands, will be provided by Wittenborg Education BV (Ltd). The Charitable trust, Stichting Wittenborg University, as of 1 March 2008 with a new Board of Governors, will continue to govern and monitor the quality control and accreditation processes of all Wittenborg programmes.

The previous education providers, Wittenborg International University BV, and Wittenborg Nederland BV, ceased to provide Wittenborg programmes as of 14 April 2008.
